I am a 2nd grade teacher without any books in her classroom library. I go to classrooms that have 1000's of books in their classroom library and I have 10. I want my students to have the opprtunity to go get a book and read anytime they have finished their work. As of now, my students either have to wait until the end of the day to go to the library during open checkout time or bring a book from home. Many of my students do not have any books a home to read. I would like to buy books for my classroom library. This will help my children gain new experiences through reading. The more they read the better readers they will be. The more they read the better they will be with writing and math as well.
