My students need a variety of 26 books that will appeal to my boy readers, including sports biographies and "My Weird School Daze Series" titles.

My Students

I often wonder, what is the key to success? What is the difference between people who are highly successful and those who aren't? I’ve thought about this long and hard, and I think I have figured it out. I believe the ability to read is the key to success because it allows people to access the world.

As a former struggling reader, I know how difficult learning to read can be.

That is why I am have come up with a unique method for teaching reading. That fact is also why I am working to bring plenty of rich literature into my classroom that will help students develop crucial reading skills. The books that I am asking for in this project will appeal to my boy readers, which is something that can be very difficult to do!

My Project

The wide variety of books that I am requesting will help my students learn comprehension skills, such as plot, main idea, inferring, summarizing, drawing conclusions, etc, as they read books that interest them. The books I have chosen are highly engaging, and I know these books will help my students become successful readers.
