Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students love to read and learn new things! Throughout Black History Month, we struggled to find books on our reading level. We would love to expand our classroom library with resources to help educate us. Exceptional Children’s Week is also approaching. Looking ahead, it would be wonderful to have books on hand for both classroom and local school education purposes!

It is so important for our students to see themselves represented in literature.

It is our classroom goal to do so with these books for this year and years to come.
