Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All of my students are anxious to get their hands on books to read this year! They have each shown great interest in diving deep into the elements of the stories, making inferences, creating their own stories using pictures, and understanding the main idea of the text.

Every day my students take adventures in books; it is important for the students to have quality literature in their hands.

Funding of this project will allow for the re-energizing of my classroom library along with targeting my goal for this year of having every student create a love for reading through reading books at their reading level and listening to read a louds. Many of the books they are reading now are paper books.
