My Students

I work at a new elementary school with amazing students who have a variety of needs. Many of the students I work with as reading interventionist have had their education affected by the negative impact of Covid. Because of this, they need extra practice on most reading skills.

These sweet, hard working, students come to school each day with a smile on their face and are eager to learn, be successful and do their very best.

It is a joy watching them improve and their desire to succeed!

My Project

The decodable books that I'm requesting will have a direct impact on student's reading success. The students that I work with are struggling readers and need additional help with their phonics and decoding skills.

These books cover many different phonics skills to fill in the holes that students may have.

The Lysol wipes will help keep our room clean and safe. I work with many different groups of students each day. I clean the reading table and chairs after each groups leaves.

The dry erase markers are used during phonics instruction by myself and the students.
