Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My school is a Title I school in Oregon, where the entire student population qualifies for free or reduced-priced lunch.
With small school budgets, it is getting harder and harder to provide students with fun and exciting ways to learn and to fall in love with reading. I want to give my students the equal opportunity to learn and to love literature that is inviting and current to their learning style. My dream is to give kids a library full of graphic novels and comics, and other exciting text that they can love!
My Project
Often times students struggle to find a book that is just right for them. This year it is my goal to give every student in my class access to books that are perfect at their level.
Every student deserves to have a book that they love, this library will be such a huge part of that for years to come.
I want my students to be able to have many different genres and authors that excite them, especially with books that are at their reading level. I have also included many nonfiction graphic novels and remakes of classic books into graphic novels into this project! I love that my students will be excited about amazing literature in a new way. Every student deserves to have a book that they love, this library will be such a huge part of that for years to come.
