My Students

I have 20 fun and energetic students who love to be in school. They love to explore and are really beginning to understand print concepts!

We are a high needs school with a diverse group of fantastic students.

The students are learning at extreme rates, but I want to be able to help them instantly know if they are understanding the concepts.

We have flexible seating to help us get the wiggles out! My students are unique and love to learn about new things. I believe that they should have the opportunity to learn in the way they need to. They need engaging and fun materials that are engaging for all.

My Project

My students need books from all different genres. They have really begun to take off in their reading and I am amazed at their abilities. I would love to be able to show them different ways that writers and Illustrators make stories come to life. We are currently only able to write short sentences that can become mundane. I want to kick-start their imagination with these different types of books. I know that these books will bring a new fresh outlook on writing and will hopefully help them continue to love school for many years to come.

We would love to be able to do book studies s and learn more about poems and fantasy books.

The book Click Clack Moo will be used to share that the main characters do not have to be only people. I want them to know that characters can also be animals. Through the science book How to Make a Rainbow, we will be participating in hands-on learning.
