The students that I am asking for funding to are in grade 7 and 8. These students are ever-growing and it so exciting to see the growth, confidence, and maturity they have gained so far as they continue their middle school experience. Some are even ready to move into high school!! These young adults are hard-working, dedicated, creative, amazing, and exceptional. They work through daily challenges in school socially and academically. I am asking for donations for these materials they will be able to access their learning, be more creative, which will give them time to regulate and be focused!
My Project
My students are amazing learners and at times they need their lessons modified and accommodated to their level, with these books they will have modified lessons in science and in social studies that they will be able to understand. By having a modified curriculum they will feel included in the classroom and be able to participate with their peers. Sometimes these students also enjoy having fidgets and other manipulatives to help them when they are working. Having fidgets can help them to focus or take a break from the hard work that they are doing and do the best work they can!
