My Students

I have an amazing group of resilient kindergarteners this year! They love to learn new things and work hard in school. We have been navigating another year of dealing with the impact of COVID-19 in the classroom.

Students in my room need a lot of hands on materials to keep them highly engaged in our classroom.

They learn best through using materials that help them maintain rigor in our room.

My Project

Students have been greatly affected by COVID-19. These supplies will help ensure my students have the best education. Having clipboards that they can use to write any where in the room can help students to get out of their seats and provide some social distancing.

I also want to provide more hands on materials for my students.

My students love having STEAM activities. These materials will also help keep my students actively engaged as they are learning how to write and develop their language skills. Our kindergarten students did not come to school with the same types of normal activities that they have in the past. We need to focus on having more engaging activities to help them with the rigor of school. Not only do I plan on using these materials with my class, but with all of the kindergarten classrooms. This project will help out many students at our school.
