My students’ curiosity makes teaching them so fun! They are always excited about learning more. My students are also kind and compassionate. They love working together and enjoy having fun. My students are working towards being self-motivated and driven learners.
My Project
If this project gets funded, my students will have many books added to our class library. The books in this project include titles that have diverse characters. Many of the books in this project feature a person of color as the main character. I believe it is important for students to see themselves in the books they read, and that is why I want these books in my classroom. Some of the books in this project are nonfiction books that will go along with our science and social studies units. Most importantly, this project includes high-quality texts to get my students excited and interested in reading.
