This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help give the students in my classroom new books to explore! My Sped students are in need of new books to read. Sometimes it can be hard for students who have specific challenges to engage in reading books. The books selected in this project are books that will help our students engage in reading.

In this project, I have included many touch and feel books for our students who need sensory output to help stay focused.

These books allow students the touch different materials and textures as they read and explore. Our students love reading and exploring new reading materials at their learning stations. I have also included a book organizer/holder to help keep our books organized.
