Books! My students LOVE books! Which makes me very happy and excited, however, I do not have enough books for them to read in class or take home to share with their families.
My students are third grade students who love to learn and enjoy reading.
I have 22 students. We are a Title 1 school, which means our school has more than 65% of its population on the free or reduced lunch program. Many of my students do not have books in their homes.
These books that I have chosen will spark the children's interest in reading and exploring new authors. These books will also allow my students to take them home and share these wonderful books with their families. These books will increase their comprehension skills, vocabulary and their reading fluency rates, which is very important at the third grade level. These books will help my students develop a life long love of reading!
These books will make all the difference to my students.
They will be so proud to share these books with their families. The students will be introduced to new authors and also increase their reading fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills at this important time in their language and reading development. These books will help my students become life long readers.
