Help me give my students the high interest books they want to read and fill my shelves with more diverse characters that they can relate too.

My Project

We are requesting books, books, books! Our titles include the Zoey and Sassafras series, Dragon Master Series, Heartwood Hotel, Harper series, Timmi Tobbson Junior Boxed Set, and National Geographic books, to name a few. My students selected these books hoping to add them to our classroom library. As a teacher, I am trying to build and foster a love for reading in my class that will last a lifetime. Getting books that are at my students' reading levels and are high interest is key to making this happen.

With these books, students will have the ability to choose from a variety of titles that meet their interests, as well as their reading levels.

Students are thrilled about the thought of having new and exciting books to read throughout the year. They have spent time requesting books they would like to read during their independent reading time. With your help, I can make this happen.
