My Project

My students are in need of materials to fill our classroom library area. These books will help them to become excited to read in school.

A well-balanced classroom library will engage my students in literature.

They need options they can both relate to as well as reading topics that may be unfamiliar to them. This will hopefully engage the brain in varying ways to allow for both learning and enjoyment. With these new books, I have included some new nonfiction options for the students to read and explore as well as fiction. These books include an encyclopedia, a how to book, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and graphic novels. I hope to meet my goal to find literature that my students are excited to read.
