My Students
Reading is the key to success in school. It is so important that teachers have a collection of quality books available for students to read and enjoy. Please donate to this project and help my students become better readers!
I teach a Special Education classroom that consists of 5 Middle School boys. Because they are low readers, it is important that they have books available to them that they enjoy. This will foster their love for reading and help them become better students.
My Project
Because my classroom consists of all boys, it is important that I have "boy books" available for them to be able to pick up and read. These books would make a huge difference in our classroom. My students would be excited about reading the hand-picked books that I chose. We could share as a class and discuss the different books that we are reading. My students would greatly appreciate these books, and they would help them become better readers and better students.
These books would bring excitement and a love of reading to my students. It is so important that they have interesting books available for them to enjoy. Many times students see reading as a chore, and not something to do for fun. I want my class to enjoy reading and read because they want to. They cannot do this without having books available in the room. These books would provide a great opportunity for my students!
