This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Non-fiction books are so interesting and exciting to read! Not only do they help us learn all sorts of great facts, but they also keep us engaged when reading! Please help us start to build our leveled library!
Our students are amazing kids who attend school in NYC.
Although they face many challenges everyday of their lives, they still come to school eager to learn. They are wonderful, intelligent and kind children who want nothing more but to have a positive experience in school.
My Project
The possibilities will be endless when are able to read our non-fiction books! Not only will these books help us master common core standards, but they will also encourage us to get the most out of our Reader's Workshop. We will be able to read books on our level and share with our classmates all the great things we have learned!
If you help us start to build our library, we will not only use it everyday, but we will also share it with the rest of second grade.
Receiving these books would be such an amazing opportunity for us to master our reading skills! Thanks!
