Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach a very diverse group of students and I want to bring books into our library that are a reflection of our diversity! Through these books, students will be able to make connections. These books will also be an amazing took to help us learn about each other's cultures and traditions. We will use these book to learn about acceptance.
I have also chosen books about self worth to add to our library.
We will use these books to learn how to be proud of our differences and be proud of ourselves. We will use these books to foster discussions about what makes us unique and special during read alouds.
