I teach 26 eager first graders. They are fun and energetic kids that enjoy school. Each one contributes to our classroom to make it whole. I absolutely love walking into my classroom each day knowing that we are going to have the best day ever. We start each day with a positive attitude and set goals to learn something new. They drive my passion for teaching and make my job the best.

My Project
March is reading month and in our classroom we are really buckling down on our reading skills. Our class has collaborated in writing this grant to help keep us organized as we grow into stronger readers. We have selected some items that we feel will help us on our journey. The bins that we have selected will be crucial for organization in the classroom to store their books and keep them in one spot. We have also chosen table organizers to hold all of their essential supplies such as pencils, crayons, glue, scissors. These bins will keep these items at arms reach while learning in the classroom. The crayon containers that I are listed are also to help keep their crayons in one spot and again at their arms reach.
These items will help us to be independent, successful readers as well as leaders of our classroom!
