Help me give my students interactive materials and books. The coil binding machine and velcro and laminate will be used to make interactive books to work on reading, vocabulary, social skills, math , science and reading comprehension activities.
I am currently setting up a Essential Life Skills classroom for my group of students with Mederate to Severe disabilities. I would like to engage my students in learning essential life skills to allow them to become as independent as possible. I feel it is important and necessary for every student to advocate wants and choices to the best of their abilities. They are young adults learning to navigate and learn skills with hands on component to care for themselves and others.
I look forward to creating and having hands on practice and manipulative to create an interactive and engaging learning environment, that will serve them best in their future success beyond our campus.
During the pandemic we were not able to have hands on manipulative or many interactive experiences. My students learn best when the situations are interactive and stimulating well as creating independence in learning.
My Project
My students learn through repetition and practice. My amazing students need materials that will help them learn at their individual level and allow them to practice concepts and skills interactively using materials they find interesting and engaging.
By making interactive books and skills cards students can practice reading comprehension, Math concepts and life skills tasks with materials that are reusable and can be reused for many years.
I want to make materials that are interactive, exciting and durable to use over and over for each of our literacy themes. We are building our library!
Help us create our learning materials to promote individualized learning.
