My Students

My students come to me for small groups throughout the day. Our school is a Title I school with students with many needs. I have students who are struggling in their classrooms daily and are trying their best to participate in as much learning as they can.

These students want to learn to read and love looking at their favorite books.

It is difficult to find books that are highly interesting and motivating but are also at the right level for my beginning readers!

My Project

These materials will help encourage my students to learn to read. They ask daily for their favorite books, but I have not been able to get the funding for them. Having full sets of books at their level to read would be amazing!

Not only are these books great for my students to practice reading, they are interesting enough for me to read aloud to draw their attention.

Having more appropriately leveled books in my library will be a great support for all my students.

They need to be encouraged to read and having fun, engaging books is just the way to do it!
