My Students

There are all kinds of readers in our classroom! My students love to read but unfortunately we do not have enough books. They are not staying engaged and focus during their independent reading time. We have some students who are early readers that need easier books. Then we have students who have been reading for a while and need harder books. Since we have such a wide variety of readers we need a wide variety of books. Can you help us?

My Project

We need a Classroom Library! It is so important that students have a wide variety of books to read. My students have a wide range of reading levels and to meet the needs of each student I need a lot of resources. Unfortunately my school doesn’t have a book fund to support classroom libraries.

Each day, my students need to read 25 minutes independently to make sure they are growing.

To help my students grow I need books for them to practice.

Nothing replaces books in children's hands. With 20 students that’s a lot of hands to fill. I cannot do this without your help!
