Help me give my students a classroom library full of books that will help inspire and spark my students' creativity. These books will also give these kids the opportunities to learn art skills at their own pace.
I have the opportunity to teach art to kindergartners all the way up to eighth graders! It is so much fun to watch how different they learn and grow at different stages of their lives. These kids love coming to art! They are excited to be creative and express themselves, creating something they are proud of. I love being a part of that! I love to give them an idea and then let them run with it, make it their own, and I am always so excited to see what those kids come up with!
My Project
Before I start an art project with my students, I like to show them an inspirational piece or read them a book that we will base our work from. This is a comfortable way to get the kids excited about their art. With these books, I will be able to grab their attention and spark their creativity while teaching them important art skills. They will also be able to have access to these books to enjoy and learn at their own pace on their own time. I love reading and art would love to instill this in my wonderful students!
