Most of our students come from low income families. 100% of our students are on free lunch. Our students do not have access or funds to do extra activities such as band, sports, trips and etc....
Our students do not often get the opportunity to visit educational places such as museums, aquariums or zoos.
With the books that we are requesting will allow the students to use augmented reality to explore things such as dinosaurs, sharks, puppies, space, rocks and minerals and etc...
These students are our future and with I want them to be able to explore all their options. Who knows maybe we have a marine biologist amongst us!
My Project
These books will make a difference in my students by taking them to places they would never be able to go to. With these augmented reality books my students will be able to experience some real life situations while having fun at the same time.
Many of my students do not have opportunities to experience simple things such as going to the museum or the zoo.
With these books in conjunction with the technology that we have they will be able experience what being a brain surgeon might feel like. I am excited for the opportunities that this will allow my students.
