Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The school library is a place my students really enjoy and love to visit each week. These supplies are much needed for students to complete their projects and the books are needed for students to continue their love of reading. Unfortunately, many of the books in our school library are old and outdated. My students especially enjoy reading graphic novels and chapter books. The book titles were carefully chosen since many have been personally requested by my students. They are thankful to checkout books that are interesting and fun to read. In addition, they also appreciate coming to their school library and finding all the materials like crayons, pencils, markers, etc they need to do their projects. Reading and creating are both things my students enjoy to do when they visit our school library.
