My Students

My students are curious, bright, thoughtful, creative and compassionate learners. They are full of curiosity and starting to begin to enjoy reading. We have begun to explore a variety of authors. I have chosen the books and flexible seating to continue to encourage them to read. By having books that are in their level/interest will encourage them to read.

Many of my students live in difficult home situations and do not have access to books that are at their level/interest them.

My Project

My students will be able to expand their vocabulary by being able to read the books they love. They will also be able to grow in their love of reading. The English language learners we serve will benefit by increasing their vocabulary, just by reading books that interest them.

The new books will help students to become excited about reading, and the stories that they can jump into.

The flexible seating will provide an opportunity to sit in a variety of places to enjoy their books.

I want each of my students to be capable of being successful in reading and enjoying the wide variety of books that interest them.
