My students need books to supplement our reading skills, and also utility bins, stools and maps around the room that we can reference from for our learning.
My students are innovative and always eager to learn. I want to give them the right tools to succeed! They come to school every day and are expecting me to give my best, just like I expect them to give me theirs.
My students are always excited to learn and love new activities or projects, they love creating, exploring and researching.
Keeping modern day kids engaged is not always an easy task. Being able to provide engaging, valuable lessons is important every day.
My Project
Throughout the year I begin to realize things that would be helpful for my class in our everyday learning. A big resource that is needed are books! Different books help supplement our learning standards and also help my students fall in love with reading. We also need places to put these books and fun places to sit and read them. I want my students to enjoy reading in my classroom!
Another item that we are missing in our class, are large display maps.
We talk all the time about geography and discuss topics that take place in either, another part of the country, or another part of the world. These resources will make it easy for my students to refer back to whenever talking about unknown places.
