My school is a fantastic place to teach and learn. We have a learning environment where children are excited to learn and grow as students and as growing members of a great community. These fourth grade students are passionate about their learning and are eager to have a variety of learning tools at hand. As educators, we are also eager to look for new and exciting ways to enrich the lives of our students and engage them in our positive learning environment. We challenge ourselves as teachers to provide experiences for students to use talents and to challenge one another on a daily basis to meet goals they have set for themselves.
Our mission is to provide an exciting and engaged learning day.
We teach students who will have jobs that might not exist yet, and this is a huge challenge. Teachers work with many eager students who need a learning space that is fun and also supportive. We hope to provide new and fun learning opportunities that promote this positive and challenging learning experience.
My Project
This project will provide new books for our young readers and give the students a new easel to use for videos and charts. We have great kids with great ideas who would love to create learning videos. Students are asked to create videos to share new ideas and to share how they are meeting their goals at the end of the week. This new easel will allow for the children to have another way to present new learning ideas for others to learn and for the video creators to shine. The new books would be wonderful as the students are always asking for these specific titles. Both of these learning tools would be a great addition to our amazing learning environment.
