My students need new and exciting books to get lost in! They love reading and sharing about characters and the adventures that they go on. Reading will allow the kids to soar to new heights.
The kids in my class and school have a thirst for knowledge. They thrive on exploration, asking questions, and building with their hands and brains. It is amazing to see their inquisitive minds in action. Our community is a close knit group, with goals for our students. We want them to be happy, kind, and successful. The children enjoy problem solving and taking risks, even if the end result is not what was expected. Each child supports one another and helps build a safe environment. It is a place where children can grow and explore.
My Project
We all have had that one amazing book that we can't put down. I want my students to experience the exact same thing. The more they read, the more they will achieve. The books will allow the students to use their imagination and creativity while they read about the adventures of the characters.
My goal is to get the reluctant reader to fall in love with books.
I am sure you remember that one teacher that helped you to fall in love with reading. Why not help another student fall in love with reading. Books allow children to explore a world that they may never be exposed too. It can take them to Ancient Civilizations, historical events, or just allow them to read for fun and creativity.
