Help me give my students the basic supplies they need to be successful every day, sturdy book boxes and high quality eraser tops to make learning fun and stress free!
Our school is a special place for my students! At my school, 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. I teach a classroom full of amazing kids that have a wealth of untapped potential. Our school is a community school, where we work hard to provide for the whole student. We provide free breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner for our students. We also provide mental health services, English classes for parents, a food pantry and so much more!
My students face significant challenges in their lives, but that never stops them from giving everything they have to learn every day!
In the words of the infamous Mrs. Frizzle, they always, "Take chances, make mistakes, and get messy!" A step into our classroom is a step into fun. Each student works hard to be a "Super Kid" in our superhero-themed classroom and the school as a whole. We make sure to integrate a fun hands-on approach to everything we do. These students have big dreams and they are not afraid to pursue them. I am currently teaching the world's future botanists, senators and engineers.
My Project
This project is designed to give my classroom two basic supplies; book boxes and pencil top erasers. Currently we are using book boxes from the dollar tree that are way to small. Most of my picture books and many of my chapter books won't fit in the book boxes we currently use.
The book boxes I am asking for will fit all sizes of books, giving my students the ability to choose any book from our library!
My students also need high quality pencil top erasers to make it easy and convenient to correct any mistakes they make. These basic supplies will make a significant difference in the lives of my students and have a positive impact on our classroom community. They will ease the frustrations of my students and make our classroom a better place to learn!
