My Project
In Language Arts, students are encouraged to read anything that they are interested in reading. In order to promote a love of reading, I show book trailers (like movie trailers) to garner excitement about new genres and novels. After watching the book trailers, we do independent reading, and students want to read the book they just learned about. I don't have copies of these books in my classroom and would like to have, at least, one available, if a student would like to read it right away. Book Trailer Tuesdays have become an event in my classroom and having these copies in the room would continue to build a life-long love of reading.
