Book Tasting

Help me give my students a good experience at their book tasting. The tablecloths, candles and supplies will be used to transform our classroom into a cafe.

My Project

I love to get students excited about reading. Students often have a hard time finding a new book to read, and it can take them weeks to get into a new book.

We are going to transform our classroom into a cafe.

Students will get to "taste test" the books. Each table will be labeled with a different genre of book, and students will get time to sample each book. The decorations and supplies will be used to get students "in the mood" to read!

The books will be used to sample different genres of text, and eventually expand my fifth grade classroom library.
