Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students attend a Title I school and are bilingual learners. They come from low socio-economic backgrounds. With the support and donations of wonderful organizations, my students can focus on achieving academic excellence and success without the worry or stress of not having the appropriate learning supplies and materials.

My students are young, eager, and energetic learners that march to the beat of their own drum.

They give me a run for my money; they keep me on my toes, but at the end of the day I know that it was well worth it.

I want them to have all the opportunities possible for academic success now and throughout their educational career.

My Project

I am requesting a set of award-wining books Toon Graphics. The materials will be used in the classroom by students to develop their love of reading while improving both fluency and comprehension. Your donation will go to create a classroom library that students can share and relish.

These books can give my students the appreciation of quality literature while allowing them to develop intelligence, creativity, nurture growth and also develop their own personality and social skills.

I hope that I am able to expose all my students to all varieties of literature; thereby providing them with academic success through reading in the classroom and success in their lives.
