I have a small classroom which is unique at my school. I am maxed out at 18 students because of the size of my classroom.
I have to be very creative with storage and the way it is set up.
Each child in my classroom is unique.
They all have such bright personalities. There is not one day that goes by in which they don't make me smile, laugh, and remind me why I love teaching! We have a lot of support through our principal, PTA, parents, community, and each other. For these and many more reasons, I absolutely love where I teach.
I need a small book shelf in my classroom to help with storage and to save some space. Currently I use a large shelf. It takes up too much space in my small classroom. I also don't like to put out too many books at once because I try to keep the children focused on the topic or special events that we would be learning in a given week.
A new smaller book shelf would help save space while allowing me gain a bigger area in which the students would sit and read.
It would also facilitate a relevant book selection available to the students.
