My students need organization for the books in our classroom library.

My Students

Our students come from diverse backgrounds; each one bringing various strengths and skills to the classroom. Our school has a large number of students receiving free and reduced lunch as well as a large English language learner population.

Students need to be actively engaged in their academics.

Students look forward to coming to school each day, where they are greeted by a safe engaging community. The staff provides high expectations and opportunities for students to excel in their educations.

Providing the best resources for students is always a top priority.

My Project

Working in a school building that old, brings furniture that is old. Our classroom would love to replace our old book shelf with this new book cart.

Having books at students' fingertips is important.

This shelf would allow organization for leveling books. Students benefit from reading on their level and having books organized by level and categories would help them make smart choices for their independent reading. Also having the organization of the bins would teach students responsibility for keeping the books organized. Thank you for considering donating toward this classroom project. The students love adding new materials to our classroom.
