My Students

My students are bursting with energy and have a strong desire to grow and learn.

The majority of my students are Native American and due to the low socioeconomic area we live in, 100 percent of my students receive free breakfast and lunch at school.

I am aware of the challenges many of my students face and I make sure that when they walk through my classroom door, they are all given an equal opportunity to learn in a positive, encouraging environment.

My Project

My students sit at tables in groups of 5 or 6. This allows them to work cooperatively as we go through our day. My students love sitting at tables and I love to watch and hear how they work together.

Because we sit at tables we need somewhere to store key supplies.

These chair pockets will fit over the backs of their chairs to store important supplies. We'll use the big pockets to store their book selections and the pencil pouch to hold their pencils, dry erase markers, and erasers. These chair pockets will help my students stay organized and keep their books and writing tools right at their disposal.
