My Students

Working at a STEM School is a challenge. My students come from all around our district to this amazing place of learning, and because of this there is a challenge to make sure everyone is ready to go every day. I want to make sure that every student is given the opportunity to rise to the occasion every day.

These students are all brilliant and shine like no others will.

They are great at working together and collaborating with each other and across their grade level. I want to make sure they have the best opportunity available.

My Project

This project stems from a desire to allow students to read as much as they want, and to provide them a diverse selection of literature to read both in and out of class. These students are not only smart but also very intuitive. Many of them are reading books which may be more adult oriented. I want to provide them even more choices in the classroom for them to be able to read and understand different authors, stories, and styles of writing. These books would allow my students more choice in their independent reading and make novels more accessible to them in the classroom. I am requesting a broad range of literature titles to enhance our class library.
