My students at SHS are an incredibly diverse, creative, and passionate group. My students rise to the new challenges of each day with a positive attitude and love to work with new resources. I hope to be able to provide my students with materials that can better our classroom environment and our learning experience,
My Project
As we move away from the rigidity of a classroom environment during COVID-19 it has been my goal to create a more comfortable and flexible classroom for my amazing students. Flexible seating has been proven to increase motivation, decrease stress and anxiety, and help to boost our own classroom culture. My first flexible seating goal will be in creating this book nook!
My vision for this space is that my students can have an option to work from a different setting, and also provide them with texts and graphic novels that will help them explore our historical content in a creative setting!
Nothing is better than a comfy chair and a good book and I want to provide that space for my students within our own classroom!
