My Students

Our school is a small school located in the South Eastern part of Kentucky. The students in my Fourth grade class are always bright, eager and full of energy. They are very open-minded and always ready to explore to find new information. We have a wide variety of materials and resources that allow me to help my students achieve their learning goals, but we are always seeking new ways to learn.

Many of my students do not have access to technology or books at home.

Therefore, most of their learning through technology takes place in my classroom. My students are an amazing group of young individuals and I am blessed to be able to educate their young minds!

My Project

In our fourth grade class, we are trying to broaden our horizon to read various types of books. Chapter books are one of those types. In fourth grade most students are just beginning to explore larger chapter books. In our classroom we need a variety of sets of books to choose from. Reading is always an area that students can improve upon and expand.

In order to become better readers, students must read!

To help instill a love of reading in our students, we are going to be creating book clubs. This project will allow us to have books readily available to read in our classroom.
