My students need a Mobile Storage Bin Center and bins to organize their own reading materials! These materials will allow students to have their own "book bucket" with books that are on their level and that they enjoy.
I teach at a Title I school in Georgia. Many of my students come from low income households and have many needs when entering our building. We work daily to ensure that all students have what they need to be ready to learn when they come in the doors each morning.
My students are thoughtful, creative, adventurous, kind, hardworking kids who are eager to learn.
My job as their teacher is to help encourage their curiosity and challenge them to become lifelong learners. I want to share my own love of reading with them and ignite their imagination so they can become all that they dream they can be!
I am asking for a storage bin center and storage bins so that students will have a place to store their books. Every student has their own interests and is reading at their own level so it is important that they have books to choose from that they can access and will love to read. By having this storage bin center, each student will have their own "book bucket" that they can fill with books that interest them and are on their level.
Reading is one of the most important skills that students can learn, and I am on a mission to help every child love to read!
By having a place to keep books that interest them, we are fostering that love of reading and helping students stay accountable for their book choices. Our school has a goal of having at least 400 books in every classroom, and our classroom exceeds that goal! This storage bin center will make it easy for my students to find one of our many books, and it will help me better assist my students in making smart book choices throughout the year!
