My students need books bins to house their library books in their classroom.
This project expired on September 24, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
A typical day in our classroom consists of eager students wanting to become stronger readers through learning strategies and finding ways to grow in their thinking surrounding high-quality texts.
They enjoy laughing and being joyful.
It's incredible to see their willingness to learn. They come into the classroom with a deep desire to engage with the world around them through reading. Through my role as a literacy interventionist, these students are being instructed to think about texts in a deeper manner.
With the books being readily accessible, students will be able to have a neat and organized space for their classroom libraries. When they complete work early and/or want to engage in independent reading, they'll have a space to go and select books. Along with this, our entire school will be able to have their own classroom library, which will consequently allow students to have access to high-quality literature. Our hope is that our students would have access and enjoyment as they read these books. These bins will serve as part of our school-wide initiative to have all kids reading independently.
