Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students will be 1st graders this next year! This year is critical as students are in the midst of learning to read and reading to learn. While they are in this transition it is optimal to prove a variety of books for students to choose from.
As a first year teacher I am looking for help to provide resources in our classroom to help every student learn.
They will love the opportunity to choose from multiple genres of text because book bins help organize our classroom library and make it easy for a first grader to locate a book.
My Project
As a first year teacher I have the passion to provide my students with resources that will aid in their education, but being a first year teacher also means I start from scratch in every area of our classroom including classroom organization. I am asking for any amount of donations to provide book bins for our first grade classroom library.
Our class book bins provide a home for our classroom library where students are able to independently choose books based on their own interests.
Having bins provides us with the ability to include multiple genres of text to reach every student.
