My Students
My students are hungry for knowledge. They greet each day so very ready to learn. It's phenomenal! Each of them works very hard and puts in his or her full effort. They are busy. They are messy. They are five and six and fantastic. Now that it is Spring we are learning about bugs. We have discovered Ladybugs hatching and lots of caterpillars creepy crawling. In reading our books and checking out the National Geographic website they have really enjoyed learning fun facts about our tiny friends. They are confident in their writing skills so much so that they enjoy writing sentences about bugs in their field guides as well as on their dry erase boards. I just love watching their intelligence bloom and grow like the nature that surrounds them.
My Project
My students love to practice their writing using our dry erase boards. We use them for writing our sentences, sound spelling words, practicing our sight words, writing our numbers, and drawing our shapes. These have been a more economically and fun way for them to work. However, the wear and tear on the boards are apparent and we are constantly having to purchase new markers.
Boogie Boards makes writing fun while being practical and more economically sound.
Also, having a holder for the stylus and a built-in erase button will save time spent passing out materials.
