My Students

I have a highly diverse group of students of various academic levels. No matter what obstacles they face when they leave school, they come into the classroom excited and ready to learn. They are a close group of kids who help, support and learn from each other. This group of students loves working in groups, talking to each other, class discussions, and -- of course -- having fun and being kids! I strive to provide them with all the tools and opportunities they need to be successful and enjoy learning. My students become a family by the end of the year and appreciate all of the great experiences and opportunities that they are offered.

My Project

My students love to participate in whole group lessons through writing, drawing, and explaining their ideas. I love watching my students create new ideas and share their thoughts with others. This tool will give them the opportunity to quickly jot down their thoughts and share them with me, as well as their classmates.

These boogie boards will also be an excellent tool to use during math and small group.

Students will be able to work out the problems in their own space while saving paper! Of course, students also love to use technology that is fun and innovative! I can't wait to get these tools into the hands of my students and see their imagination take off!
