Help me give my students Boogie Board Magic Sketch LCD writing tablets and protective carry cases.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
I teach student with dyslexia and reading difficulties in a Title 1 school in Harris County, Texas. My students have unique learning needs that require creative instructional tools. Teaching students of various grade levels means I need diverse resources to reach each student's individual needs. Most of my students come from low economic homes and lack technology to prepare them for their future. Their parents and teachers are willing and ready to help their children/ students become successful lifelong learners.
Repetition of basic reading skills is an important part of a good dyslexia intervention program. With LCD writing tablets, my students can engage in activities to reinforce the alphabetic principle, letter formation, and sound/symbol relationships, while continuing to develop fine motor skills. With the "erase at the touch of a button" feature, students will be able to practice these basic, but necessary, skills again and again. Also, greater portions of students' brains will be activated and engaged by the rainbow colored markings that will appear as they write on the tablets. I believe the use of these writing tablets will be a great incentive for students to practice reading and writing skills in a new, exciting way.
