Boogie Boards (eWriter) for Kindergarten Classroom
My students need 30 Boogie Boards with covers for every day classroom use. These will be used during both whole-group and small-group sessions, Math and ELA.

Kindergarten is an amazing place to spend your days - exhausting and rewarding! I cannot imagine spending my days anywhere else. It is a great thing when a career and a passion come together as one.
Our elementary school has the greatest free and reduced lunch rate in the county.
As a low socioeconomic school we are also a Title 1 school. Less than half of my students have had any prior Pre-K or daycare experience. I serve the ESL (English as a Second Language) students for our grade level as well. I am very thankful to work in a loving, caring, and up-lifting environment. The children warm our hearts every day. I am not sure who enjoys school more - me or them?!
My Project
With the use of 30 Boogie Boards we will be able to practice pencil grip, handwriting, letter and number formation, spelling, word building, sentence formation, illustrations, thinking maps, brainstorming, patterns, shapes, counting, addition, subtraction, and so much more!
The boards will be used during both whole group and small group learning. They will be housed in the neoprene cases and then in each child's chair pocket.
These great boards do not require charging or battery changes. There will be no more need to purchase white boards or dry erase markers/erasers! Yay for no more Expo marker fumes or continued marker replacement cost! Also - think of all the paper (trees!) we will save!
I cannot wait to see these in use in my classroom!
I know the parents and I will feel such relief in knowing we won't need to purchase dry erase markers, erasers, or paper near as much!! And just imagine - these are not your everyday electronics, its not screen time - its a paperless e-writer with a one push button eraser. The students will look forward to writing and drawing and working out math problems now! No more dreaded worksheets!!
