My students work so hard all day long, and they deserve a break! Help me, help my students recenter and refocus their energy during resting time by getting them tangram puzzles, small storage containers for playdough, wiki stixx, fidget toys, and all the organizational items to use during quiet time.
While some students will want to take a load off and nap during quiet time, many can recenter and refocus by working quietly; the Montesorri inspired games will allow my students to use their 'higher-order thinking brains.' The games will help with spatial reasoning, problem-solving, math and engineering concepts and logical reasoning while independently relaxing, refocusing, and recentering.
These games can give my students a break while engaging them in higher-order thinking, self-regulation practice, and just having fun!
