This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
I currently teach 10th - 12th-grade Algebra II and Advanced Math. One of the things that I love most about my students is their willingness to participate. I am fortunate enough to not have to "beg" for students to answer questions because they all want to answer.
Personal whiteboards and erasers will not only give my students the opportunity to show me their answers, but they will also allow me to formatively assess the students quickly and efficiently.
I will be able to scan the room to see the students' math work and make decisions that will drive my instruction.
More than half of students from low‑income households
