This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Not all students learn in the same way. Some are auditory learners, some learn by doing, and some are visual learners.

I have always had a diversified set of students every year.

It is part of the reason that I love to teach. Every year the new group of students brings lots of experience and background to share. They are determined to learn, and together with the teachers and staff at our school, we are making it happen. If the following items are funded, these kids would be able to grow and learn far beyond what I can financially provide for them.

My Project

The speakers will give us the opportunity to watch short health videos, learn new dances, and do some workout videos.

Right now my students have to listen to all of the audio in the classroom through a small speaker in the board.

When the volume is turned up, there is a distracting humming noise that comes from the speaker. I feel that a Bluetooth speaker will provide a more engaging learning space for my students.

I want to show the students that even though we like our tablets, and phones. We can still partake in an active lifestyle while enjoying the perks of the latest technological advances in today’s world. The speaker will also be used during physical education class to dance to keep our bodies actives.
