My students need an additional chromebook for research and creating study tools. It will also be shared with the other blue team teachers !

My Students

Our school is located in a middle class neighborhood, but we have students from all backgrounds. These kids are special because they represent so many different backgrounds, but they find a way to connect with each other.

We are a family!

We have approximately 130 students who make up the 7th Grade Blue Team, and they are full of personality and energy. Almost all of our students have the same teachers, and we make it a point to take care of each other, like a family. We may not always get along, but we always look out for each other.

My Project

My students use Chromebooks on a weekly basis to create study tools such as Nearpods, Padlets, ed puzzles, Quizlets, Kahoot It games, videos, Chatterpix, and more . We would love an additional Chromebook to allow us to work in smaller groups. We also use them for research and other interactive projects throughout the year.

The Chromebooks are great for creating visuals (charts, graphs, etc) from the lab data that they collect in class.

I hope to be able to use technology even more if we have an additional Chromebook available in the classroom on a daily basis. Students are so tech-savvy that they tend to teach me as much as I teach them, so it is a win-win situation.
