My Students
At Mangum we do so many things well. We have been an A+ school for the past two years. We have so many great and intelligent young students. One thing we don't have is technology to foster our students growing minds.
When I got here two years ago, we didn't have any technology to let our students do hands on learning.
Since then we have made sure our Ipads our up to date and we have added items such as makey makey's and Ozobots, but we are still struggling to keep our creative and innovative minds at bay.
We have started a technology club last year that was solely done through a computer lab. We need to expand what we have in stock so that we can keep meetings and ideas fresh.
My Project
These materials will help our students, who are joining our Technology Club, gain an understanding of video game creation. We have done things like coding and website design in our tech club before but we have never done anything with video game creation.
This will open up another avenue for students to gain knowledge about how video game creation works and it will give them another way to be creative.
Last year we did everything in our computer lab for our club. This product will let our students do more hands on learning and it will add another element to our club.
